The Wenxian Chenjiagou Martial Arts Academy

     

 

      The Wenxian Chenjiagou Martial Arts Academy is a first class provincial academic institution, established in collaboration with the Jiaozuo ministry of education and the bureau of physical education. Its main goal is the promotion of academic study as well as martial arts. The school uses a closed boarding school system and has a well structured school management/administrative system. The school is located in the birth place of Taijiquan, Henan, Wenxian, Chenjiagou.

 

　　The Chenjiagou Martial Arts Academy was founded by Grandmaster Wang Xi’an who is the 19th generation successor to Chen Shi Taiji and an International advanced level wushu judge. He is currently the director of the Academy. Guinness record holder Wang Zhan Jun serves as acting director and head coach for the Academy. Together they bring with them years of experience and leadership as well as a group of highly trained teachers and coaches.

 

　　The creation of the Chenjiagou Martial Arts Academy was a multi-million dollar project, conservatively estimated at 8,000,000 RMB. It covers an area of 30 acres with state of the art facilities including classrooms and teaching facilities, administrative offices, a modern cafeteria, an indoor martial arts training facility, exercise yard, advanced language study center, medical/nursing facilities, laundry facilities and a shopping center. The academy is one of the largest of its kind and it situated in a pleasant environment and staffed with outstanding teachers, making it an ideal place for the study of the academic curriculum a well as martial arts.

 

　　The school is focused on brining the best out of its students through the following principles: 1) focus on moral education 2) development of both academic and martial ability 3) development of integrity and perseverance 4) bringing glory to the nation. Our goal is to provide students with a broad education through the use of highly trained teachers and the implementation of a military based discipline system of management. The school places a heavy emphasis on the quality of education as well as the quality of students.

 

　　In the past year, the academy with the full support of the government and community has developed many high level students that are now teaching in such places as Japan, France, Spain, The Beijing Sports Academy, The Wuhan Sports Academy, The Shanghai Sports Academy and many other cities in China. The academy has also caught the attention of the media, making headlines in major media channels such as the People’s Daily, Hong Kong Ta Kung Daily, Jiangxi Daily, Jiaozuo Daily, Chinese Central Television (CCTV), Taiwan Hua Mao Television, Hong Kong Television (HKTV), and CNN.

 

　　The Chenjiagou Martial Arts Academy is the largest school that promotes not only an academic education but also a martial education based on Taijiquan. Since its founding, the academy has produced athletes at the prefectural, municipal, provincial, national and international levels. The school has a record of achieving over 500 gold medals, 300 silver medals and over 900 bronze medals in national and international competitions. The growing reputation of the school has developed a growing base of foreign students coming from such countries as the United States, Great Britain, France,Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia and many more . The Academy has won praise by many relevant departments in education as well as the community. The School is dedicated to promoting and preserving Chinese culture and promoting traditional Chinese martial arts, hoping through the process to develop students that are both academically and physically adept so that they may be an important contribution to society.
